Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the optimization and deployment of AI algorithms based on Qualcomm chips, and improve the performance of algorithms on the Qualcomm platform.
  • Keep regular communication with Qualcomm, closely follow the development trends of Qualcomm chip technology, and provide forward-looking technical suggestions for projects.
  • Follow up on the latest development of XR business and promote the development and evolution of low-power edge devices.
  • Continuously pay attention to the new technological trends and research results in the industry, and share excellent practices in the industry.
  • Promote the development of the AI toolchain and the construction of the technical ecosystem, and be responsible for the software and hardware collaborative design of the AI training system.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years experience in Python or C++
  • Have an in-depth understanding of Qualcomm chip architecture, and be familiar with its working principle and performance characteristics.
  • Familiar with AI heterogeneous computing architecture, understand common AI chip architectures and common AI compiler solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to conduct professional technical discussions with Qualcomm's R&D team.
  • Demonstrate strong innovation skills, the ability to independently address technical challenges in integrating complex algorithms with chips, and a proactive drive to explore new AI technologies and application scenarios.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $194,000 - $410,000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
