Minimum Qualifications

1. BS/MS/PhD in a quantitative field: Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Statistics/Analytics, Computer Science, or other relevant fields.
2. 4+ years of industry experience and a passion for designing, analyzing, and deploying machine learning-based solutions.
3. Experience working with relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
4. Experience working with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Hive).
5. Fluency with one or more programming languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc.
6. Experience with data science toolkits like pandas, Jupyter, Scikit, TensorFlow, etc.
7. Familiarity with Machine Learning techniques, e.g., classification, clustering, regularization, optimization, dimension reduction, etc.
8. Ability to write high-quality, well-documented, scalable code - Python preferred.
9. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex/technical work to a non-technical audience and to present data effectively.
10. Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS).
11. Experience with Large Language Models (RAG, Generative AI) and NLP.
12. Experience with recommender systems.
